Drift Limits carWest-Hertfordshire based Drift Limits Motorsports Academy have chosen Raise as one of their charity partners and for any driving enthusiast their Donate-a-Drive and Show-and-Shine offers have got to be the best ways ever of supporting any charity!

The company provide experiences and tuition in a range of stunning cars, including the incredible McLaren MP4 12C GT3 supercar. Amongst many others available to to drive are the Dodge Viper with its massive 8.4 litre V10 engine, the Bullitt 1968 Ford Mustang, and even the electric Tesla P90-D which weighs in at over 2 tonnes yet pulls 0-60 in just 2.8 seconds.

Kane Hughes, Business Development Manager at the academy, located near Hemel Hempstead, said “We were planning to hold a charity day to mark the 75th Anniversary of VE Day. Unfortunately, this was sadly cancelled due to the pandemic. We regularly support two charities in the area, Community Action Dacorum and Willow Foundation and we wanted to to add Raise to the list –  in fact I’ve been keen to include the NHS in our fundraising for a while.

“Proceeds of the new Donate-a-Drive scheme on our website will all be donated to the charities, with every penny raised divided equally each month.

“We will be relaunching our programme of Show and Shine events which will run every 2nd Sunday of the month and the nominated charity will receive all profits raised from ticket prices on the day. Once these start operating, Raise will be part of this.”

David Head at Raise added “I might just have to go along and check out the cars on behalf of the charity – it’s a tough job but someone will have to do it!

“This is a very generous stance by a company offering some great experiences and I can see that when life does return to more like normal the partnership will offer some of the funnest ways of supporting a charity.”

Watch the Raise website and social media for details of events as they emerge, and in the meantime check out the company’s Donate-a-Drive scheme at https://driftlimits.co.uk/experience/donate-a-drive/
