Argos donates toys for Watford’s young patients

Children at Watford General Hospital were thrilled to receive £300 worth of toys donated by Argos at Waterfields Retail Park. Handed over by Raise‘s Fundraising Officer Freya to Health Play Specialist Saleena Gulamhussein (pictured), the toys will no doubt raise a few smiles from Watford’s young patients!

Upon receiving the gifts, Saleena told Raise: “Thank you for the toys, they will prove to be invaluable especially as we are limited in what we can use for distraction with the current Covid infection control regulations.

“The toys will be welcomed by all our children. We will use them across all our paediatric departments at Watford General Hospital.”

Sofia Sheikh, Raise’s Charity Director, said: “We’re so incredibly grateful to Argos Watford Waterfields. The toys will ensure young patient visits to the hospital will be more playful and happy thanks to this donation. Thank you, Argos!”
