Play our lottery in support of your west Hertfordshire hospitals
Playing our lottery is a fun and exciting way to improve the lives of patients and staff at our west Hertfordshire hospitals, and you could be in with a chance to win amazing prizes!
At Raise – West Hertfordshire Hospitals Charity – we believe that every patient deserves the highest quality of care. We support patient care by raising funds for cutting edge technology, environmental enhancements, and extra comforts that make all the difference, over and above what would be possible through NHS funding alone.
By playing our lottery not only do you get the chance to win a top prize of £1,000 every week and up to £10,000 in the bonus Rollover prize, you will also be helping to make a difference to the patients and staff across our three hospitals.
Your weekly participation in our lottery will help us to quickly and flexibly address areas of greatest and most urgent need across Hemel Hempstead, St Albans City and Watford General hospitals. Every time you play you will help provide a vital source of income. It is thanks to our regular supporters’ generosity that we can make a difference for patients day after day – thank you.
Charitable funding helps to make amazing things happen… like this paediatric cardio scanner. Many premature babies need to have their hearts scanned for a variety of reasons. These could range from potentially life threatening conditions that need early surgery, to ongoing heart conditions which need regular scans to monitor progress. Thanks to charitable funding we were able to purchase this amazing piece of equipment, which means that clinicians are able to diagnose and treat babies’ heart problems faster.
How do I play?

“I wanted to help raise money for such a worthwhile cause, as well as put something back into the local community. Playing the lottery meant I could do that, winning the top prize was an unexpected bonus.”
Mr Berry, winner!
