Natalie and friends raise £2,500 with 27k charity walk!

Our communications officer Natalie (above right) and friends Kerry (left) and Kylie (centre) kick started the year by successfully completing a 27K charity walk in London at the weekend to raise vital funds for West Herts Hospitals.

The trio took part in the Ultra Challenge London Winter Walk event on Saturday 27 January, raising nearly £2,500 for our charity.

Going above and beyond their target!

Natalie said “It was a great fundraising challenge to take part in to raise money for West Herts Hospitals. We signed up for the half marathon but ended up walking 27 kilometres in the end. The route followed the Thames, and we walked past iconic London landmarks including Big Ben and Westminster before crossing over Tower Bridge which took our minds off how tired our legs were. Thank you so much to everyone who supported us!”

The trio went above and beyond their 21k target and walking 27 kilometres over six hours

Congratulations to Natalie, Kerry and Kylie for completing this challenge and raising vital funds for West Herts Hospitals!
