Therapy team’s Captain Tom 100 Challenge

The #teamWestHerts’ therapy team, who are based at Jacketts Field in Abbots Langley, took part in the Captain Tom 100 Challenge over the May bank holiday weekend to raise money for Raise.

The Captain Tom 100 Challenge invites individuals and teams to raise funds for a charity of their choice by thinking up a challenge involving the number 100.

The therapy team ran, walked, and skated a total of 229.5 miles – way over the challenge’s target of 100!

Sofia Sheikh, Raise Charity Director, said: “Raising 100% of your target is no small feat. We’re so incredibly grateful to the therapy team for coming together to raise money for their hospital charity and to also mark the amazing legacy of Captain Sir Tom Moore. Thank you!”

So far, the team has raised more than their target on their JustGiving page – help them make it even more by donating here.
